Features

Everything you need to track, manage, and understand scabies symptoms — privately.

📋
Symptom check-ins

Log symptoms by body area with severity and itchiness levels. Select multiple affected areas per check-in. The app derives an overall symptom picture and tracks your concern level across three tiers: All Clear, Monitor Symptoms, and Limit Close Contact.

📸
Photo documentation

Take dated photos of affected areas to track visual changes over time. Attach severity ratings and notes. Photos are stored only in the app’s private storage — never saved to your camera roll or uploaded anywhere.

📊
Self-check quiz

A guided self-assessment based on publicly available medical guidance helps you understand your current symptom pattern. High-specificity answers increase your concern level; the quiz can be retaken as symptoms change. Not a diagnosis.

💊
Treatment management

Log treatments step by step through a clinically informed pathway: permethrin cream, malathion, ivermectin, and GP referral. Each step tracks application dates and outcomes. Get second-application reminders and a 7-day recovery check-in notification after treatment.

Recovery & relapse detection

After treatment, a recovery self-check (cure quiz) assesses whether symptoms are resolving. If you pass, you’re marked as recovered and old data is baselined so it doesn’t affect future tracking. If new symptoms return, the app detects the relapse and re-enters monitoring.

👥
Contact network & risk engine

Add close contacts with relationship types (partner, housemate, friend, classmate/colleague, other). The app builds a contact graph and runs a risk engine that estimates contact-level risk based on proximity, relationship, symptoms, and linked statuses. Risk estimates are organisational aids, not diagnoses.

🔔
Anonymous signal sharing

With an optional Sign in with Apple account, generate invite codes to link with close contacts. If your concern level reaches the highest threshold, linked contacts receive a private in-app nudge. No health details are shared. You can link online contacts to local tracker entries to sync their status automatically. Unlink or delete your account at any time.

Built-in intelligence

Ask questions in natural language and get answers grounded in authoritative health sources (NHS, CDC, BAD, DermNet). Includes a searchable library of guided answers on common topics, plus context-aware suggestions that appear throughout the app when relevant to your situation — like treatment nudges, coordinator prompts, and recovery check reminders.

📄
GP summary export

Generate a clinically formatted PDF containing your symptom timeline, treatment history, self-check results, concern level, and attached photos. Designed for healthcare professionals — share it with your GP, pharmacist, dermatologist, or sexual health clinic.

📩
Coordinator messages

When your contacts may need to seek treatment too, the app can draft a message you can customise and share. The message includes relevant health service links for your region and is editable before sending.

🌍
Region-aware resources

Set your region to get relevant medical helplines, emergency numbers, pharmacy finders, and health guidance links. Supports England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, USA, and Worldwide. Emergency call links include a confirmation step to prevent accidental dialling.

🔒
Privacy & security

All health data is stored only on your device. Optional Face ID or passcode lock. Analytics is off by default and separate from the medical disclaimer. No ads, no tracking, no in-app purchases. If you enable Signal Sharing, only an anonymous concern-level string is stored online. Clear all data or delete your account at any time.
